1. What we collect

When you send a quote request, we keep the details you type into the form. We ask only for what an engineer needs to help you. For example, that usually means the following:

• Your name and phone number
• Your postcode and address
• A description of your plumbing or drain problem

2. How we use it

Your request goes first to the site operator's lead inbox and database, and is then passed to a local engineer who covers your area. The engineer then uses your details to get in touch about the job. We also use them to reply to any questions you send us. However, we do not use them to send you adverts.

3. Who we share it with

Your request reaches us first, and we then share it with the engineer who will contact you, because they need it to help. We do not sell your details to anyone. We also use a small number of firms to run this website and store requests. They may only use your details to do that work for us.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your request only as long as we need it for the job and our records. After that, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner, while the engineer may keep their own job records too. Ask them if you want those removed as well.

5. Your rights

You have rights over your data under UK law. You can use them at any time, and it costs nothing. In short, you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to us using your data

We store requests with firms that keep data secure and limit who can see it. Only the people who need your request to help you can read it. Still, no website can promise perfect security. If we ever find a problem that affects your data, we will tell you.
